Don't Sleep

Don't Sleep is an upcoming Telugu mystery thriller directed by Shamdat, who is also its cinematographer. Indra Ram plays a young married man whose dreams start coming true, while a mysterious figure sets out to kill him, forcing him to go to great lengths to stay alive. The film's tagline, 'the longer you sleep, the closer he gets', sets up the idea that rest itself becomes the danger. Ravindra Vijay, Joyeeta Banerjee, Taba Reema, Sunil Thapa and Aadukalam Naren are also in the cast. The film is Shamdat's first as a director in Telugu; he earlier directed Street Lights, a Malayalam-Tamil bilingual starring Mammootty. Sajir Baba and Luna wrote it, and V. Chudamani produces it under V Dream Films. Gokul Harshan composes the background score, Manoj edits and Monica-Ramakrishna handle the production design.
