Khidki Gaav (If on a Winter's Night)

Khidki Gaav (If on a Winter's Night) is a drama directed by Sanju Surendran and written by Rekha Raj, with dialogue in Malayalam and Hindi. Sarah (Bhanu Priyamvada) and Abhi (Roshan Abdul Rahoof), a young Malayali couple living together, set up home in an apartment in the Khirki village area of South Delhi during winter, far from Sarah's controlling family. Abhi is trying to establish himself as an artist. A suspicious landlady, friends who overstep and Sarah's own troubles make their closeness feel confining, and money worries and a language barrier begin to pull them apart. Jitheesh Raichel Samuel, Arathy KB and Shobhana Sharma are also in the cast. Payal Kapadia is the executive producer, and the film carries the Sanju Surendran Films and Cloud Door Films banners, with cinematography by Manesh Madhavan and editing by Praveen MK. Its North American premiere was at New Directors/New Films in April 2026. A theatrical release is yet to come.
