Christo Xavier
It was the score for Bramayugam (2024), the Mammootty-led film, that made Christo Xavier's name and won him the Kerala State Film Award for Best Music Director in the score category. Born on 21 July 1999, the composer and playback singer does most of his work in Malayalam cinema. Madanolsavam (2023) was his first film as a composer, and Journey of Love 18+ gave him his first outing as a playback singer. He reunited with Mammootty that same year on Turbo, scored Sookshmadarshini and crossed into Tamil cinema with Sorgavaasal. Diés Iraé (2025) carried his soundtrack. Several new projects are lined up. Bouma, the mystery thriller written and directed by Rejin S. Babu with Vineeth, Dileesh Pothan and Sagar Surya, is due in theatres in November 2026. He is also the composer for Bachelor Party D'eux and Odiyan: The Age of Illusion. And Rowdy Janardhana will be his first Telugu film: a period action drama directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, led by Vijay Deverakonda and Keerthy Suresh, and due in December 2026.
