Bouma (2026)

Bouma is an upcoming Malayalam film written and directed by Rejin S. Babu from a story by Dony Kadamanitta, and his second feature after Pendulum. Billed as a mystery thriller, it is an ensemble, character-driven piece centred on a large household. The first-look poster shows sixteen members of one family seated along a long dining table, with a grand piano and a grandfather clock in the frame, each person lost in thought; the poster suggests Vineeth plays the eldest patriarch. The makers have not released any plot details. Dileesh Pothan, Sagar Surya, Revathi Sharma, Aditi Balan, Madhupal, Lena, Mokksha Sengupta, Merin Philip, Raghunath Paleri, Jaffar Idukki and Vijay Babu complete the cast. Bassam Kadhiyar produces the film under Atus Films, with Sharan Velayudhan as cinematographer, Sooraj E S as editor and Christo Xavier on music. Bouma is planned in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada, and its final release date is yet to be confirmed.
