Fauzi (2027)

Fauzi is an upcoming Telugu period action drama written and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, his follow-up to Sita Ramam (2022). Set in the 1940s under British rule and drawn from real historical events, it casts Prabhas as a soldier of the Azad Hind Force who is pulled between duty, his personal feelings and his ideology. Imanvi plays the female lead, making her Telugu debut. Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Bhanu Chander and Jayapradha are also in the cast. The director has described the film as a patriotic drama rather than a mythological one. Fauzi is planned in two parts, with the second film being a prequel. Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar produce it under Mythri Movie Makers. Vishal Chandrasekhar composes the music, with lyrics by Krishna Kanth, while Sudeep Chatterjee is the cinematographer and Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao the editor.
