The soundtrack of Dude, the Tamil film that starred Mamitha Baiju opposite Pradeep Ranganathan, has crossed 500 million streams on Spotify. Music label Think Music announced the milestone on X, calling it "another milestone for #Dude before we turn one", as the film nears its first anniversary.

For Malayali audiences, Mamitha is best known for Premalu, and her Malayalam work also includes Bethlehem Kudumba Unit. She recently named her roles in those two films as the closest to her real self.
Sai Abhyankkar's debut album
Dude was Sai Abhyankkar's first full album as a film composer, Think Music noted. Keerthiswaran directed the film and Mythri Movie Makers produced it.

Dude at a glance
Dude released in theatres on October 17, 2025, as a Diwali film, with Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead and Mamitha Baiju as the heroine. R Sarathkumar and Rohini play key roles. It was the directorial debut of Keerthiswaran, and Mythri Movie Makers produced it. Netflix began streaming the film on November 14, 2025, in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.
For Pradeep, Dude came after two big hits, Love Today (2022), which he also directed, and Dragon (2025). Dude crossed Rs 100 crore in less than a week, making it his third hit in a row.
Who is Sai Abhyankkar?
Before Dude, Sai Abhyankkar was known for his independent singles Katchi Sera (January 2024) and Aasa Kooda (June 2024), both released through Think Indie. Dude was his first film soundtrack to release, and its songs include Oorum Blood, Nallaru Po, Kannukulla and Singari.
For Mamitha, Dude was her second Tamil film after Rebel (2024) with GV Prakash Kumar, and her biggest Tamil hit so far.
Think Music holds the album rights and has been marking each streaming milestone on X. The film itself is also in Malayalam on Netflix, so Kerala viewers can watch it with Malayalam audio.
