Avarachan & Sons, the Biju Menon starrer family comedy, leads a busy week of Malayalam streaming, with four titles landing on October 29 and 30. Netflix has already put up the film's Malayalam title page, and the streaming date is reported as October 30, four weeks after its October 2 theatrical release. Here are the streaming details.
Netflix opens the week with Baththa on October 29. Taking to social media, Netflix India South confirmed that the Vijay Sethupathi film streams in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

When and where to watch Avarachan & Sons
Avarachan & Sons is reported to stream on Netflix from October 30 in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. Netflix's own listing describes Avarachan as a widower who is forced to leave home over his unorthodox lifestyle and then sets out to win back his grown sons.
Apart from Biju Menon, the film features Sreenath Bhasi and Ganapathi S. Poduval as the sons, with Grace Antony, Akhila Bhargavan, Vinay Forrt and Johny Antony in key roles. Thamby directs, and Listin Stephen produces. The official trailer from Magic Frames sets up the clashes between Avarachan and his sons.

Baththa on Netflix
Baththa, directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan, stars Vijay Sethupathi with Lijomol Jose in a key role. The Tamil film hit the big screens on October 1, 2026, so the Netflix date of October 29 comes four weeks later. For Malayali viewers, the Lijomol Jose connection and the Malayalam dub are the hooks. Akka and Immortal on October 30
Akka, the Netflix series headlined by Keerthy Suresh, Radhika Apte and Tanvi Azmi, premieres on October 30, as Netflix India announced. Immortal, the GV Prakash Kumar and Kayadu Lohar fantasy horror film directed by Mariyappan Chinna, streams on Sony LIV from October 30. Sony LIV Tamil posted the date on October 26. Immortal released in theatres on September 4, 2026. Malayalam is reported among its languages, along with Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.

Which one to stream first
For a Malayalam original, Avarachan & Sons is the only new film of the week, and it is the pick for a family watch. Baththa suits viewers who want the Vijay Sethupathi film in the Malayalam dub, while Immortal is the horror option.
Akka is the binge choice. However, viewers who want Malayalam audio should wait for Netflix's language list on October 30 before starting the series.
