Sreenath Bhasi
Before cinema, Sreenath Bhasi's voice was on Red FM 93.5, where the Palluruthy native worked as a radio jockey while also taking jobs as a video jockey. Malayalam films came in 2011, and one of his early screen appearances was as a band member in Ustad Hotel (2012). Music never went away. He was once in Crimson Wood, a Christian alternative metal outfit, now sings for an experimental djent band based in Kerala, and also works as a disc jockey. Da Thadiya was the film that first got him wider notice, and the credits have piled up since. Among his better-known roles is Subhash Chandran in Manjummel Boys (2024). His 2026 slate is a crowded one. He appears in Thamby's Avaraachan and Sons, and in Udumbanchola Vision, which stars Mathew Thomas as the man running a small cable channel. He also headlines Orijinal, a time-travel thriller written and directed by Ramees, playing a double role. Its trailer crossed 2.1 million views, and the film reached theatres on 23 October 2026. Coming up after that is Bachelor Party D'eux, in which he plays a character named Xavi.
