Nahas Hidhayath

YouTube gave Nahas Hidhayath his first big audience. In 2021 he made two short films, 14 Days of Love and Colour Padam, both starring Mamitha Baiju, and both drew a large following there. Born on 27 July 1994 in Kanjirappally, Kottayam district, the Malayalam director and screenwriter learnt the craft as an assistant director to Basil Joseph on Godha (2017), and had a small acting part in Dijo Jose Antony's Queen (2018). Colour Padam caught the eye of the production house Weekend Blockbusters, and he took a story idea to producer Sophia Paul. The result was his first feature, the action thriller RDX, which he co-wrote. Released on 25 August 2023, it was well reviewed, collected more than ₹100 crore worldwide and ended the year as the third highest-grossing Malayalam film. It was also named Best Popular Film at the 2023 Kerala Film Critics Association Awards. On 1 March 2025 he announced his second film, with Dulquer Salmaan in the lead, and shooting began that May. Titled I'm Game and produced by Wayfarer Films, the sports-based action thriller reached theatres in 2026 and has been streaming on JioHotstar since 16 October.
