Nivin Pauly
Malarvaadi Arts Club (2010) was a first for two people. It marked Vineeth Sreenivasan's debut as director, and it gave Nivin Pauly his first screen role. Before that, the actor and producer from Aluva in Ernakulam district, Kerala, had studied electronics and communication engineering. Thattathin Marayathu (2012) made him a star, and Neram, 1983, Ohm Shanthi Oshaana and Oru Vadakkan Selfie tied him to ordinary, boy-next-door characters. The same stretch brought Kuttan in Bangalore Days (2014) and George David in Premam (2015). Bangalore Days and 1983 together won him the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor. Neram had fetched the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut, and Action Hero Biju (2016) added the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Malayalam. Moothon earned him a Kerala State special mention. Action Hero Biju also launched his banner, Pauly Jr. Pictures, which later produced Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela and Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham. Kayamkulam Kochunni, Love Action Drama and Sarvam Maya (2025) came after. This year he played Justin in Girish AD's Bethlehem Kudumba Unit (2026), which grossed over ₹326 crore worldwide. Ahead is NP 51, a family entertainer directed by Nashid Famy, with Rukmini Vasanth.
