Sangeeth Prathap

The editing table came first for Sangeeth Prathap. He started his career as a Malayalam film editor, cutting other people's work, and only moved in front of the camera in 2022, when he played Baiju in Hridayam. Acting has not replaced the editing. He has kept both going side by side, and his cut of Little Miss Rawther won him the Kerala State Film Award for Best Editor. Amal Davis, his role in the 2024 hit Premalu, was his breakthrough as an actor and is still the part audiences most recognise him for. He played Kiran, Pavi's friend, in Thudarum (2025), and in 2026 appeared in Bethlehem Kudumba Unit and It's a Medical Miracle, the latter his first film as lead actor. Hello Dear, the debut feature of director Dinoy Paulose, is his upcoming release, with Mamitha Baiju sharing the lead. It is scheduled to reach theatres on 29 January 2027.
