Ranabaali (2026)

Ranabaali is a Telugu historical action drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan and written by Pramod Tammineni. Set in British-ruled South India during the famine of the 1870s, it follows Ranabaali (Vijay Deverakonda), a man from Rayalaseema who defends the oppressed villagers of Singanamala, a fictional village, and rises against the colonial rulers. Rashmika Mandanna plays Jayamma, his wife, who fights alongside him, and Arnold Vosloo plays the English antagonist Sir Theodore Hector. Easwari Rao and Jason Shah are also part of the cast, and the story weaves romance into its period action. The film reunites Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna after Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar produce it under Mythri Movie Makers, with T-Series presenting, and Ajay-Atul compose the music. A schedule in Rayalaseema wrapped in April 2026. Ranabaali opened in theatres in October 2026.
