Director Vinayan is returning with a fantasy thriller. The announcement came via a social media post on Saturday, where he confirmed his next project after the historical film Pathinonpatham Noottandu — and described it as a departure in storytelling approach rather than just genre.
“I have decided to come before you with a thrilling fantasy story,” Vinayan wrote in his post, shared on Facebook. “This storytelling style has never been attempted before. I believe you, who have always supported my experiments and innovations, will love this too.”
Cast, crew, and the film’s title will be officially announced at a title launch event in Ernakulam, which he indicated is coming soon.

The announcement is thin on detail by design — Vinayan has reserved everything for the launch event.
