Abhishek Pathak

Two Drishyam films in Hindi carry Abhishek Pathak's name as director. The first was Drishyam 2 in 2022, the sequel to the 2015 Hindi Drishyam. He came back to the franchise for Drishyam: The Conclusion (2026), which has approached ₹500 crore at the box office. He has described it as a Hindi original rather than a remake of the Malayalam Drishyam 3, and has said there will be no fourth Hindi instalment because the story has reached its end. Born on 1 July 1987, he is the son of producer Kumar Mangat Pathak, and much of his producing work has come through Panorama Studios, his father's production company. He studied at Mithibai College in Mumbai and then trained in filmmaking at the New York Film Academy. As a producer he has Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Section 375 and Khuda Haafiz to his name. His own debut as director came in 2019 with the comedy Ujda Chaman. He works in Hindi cinema on both sides, directing and producing.
