Sunil Sukhada
A supermarket manager in Chaappa Kurishu (2011) was Sunil Sukhada's first full-length role, a year after a small part in Best Actor (2010) had brought him into films. Born in 1974, he is from Poothole in Thrissur. He went to school at the Church Mission Society Higher Secondary School there and earned a degree in economics from Sree Kerala Varma College. In Malayalam cinema he has worked mostly in supporting and character parts. Those parts have accumulated across Salt N' Pepper, Ustad Hotel, Punyalan Agarbattis and Pendulum. In Lucifer (2019) he played Manappatil Chandy. The Tamil film Por Thozhil gave him a credit outside Malayalam, and Jailer 2 (2026) adds another Tamil one: he plays Benjamin, and he is one of several Malayali actors in its cast. Television has been part of his work too. His performance in Appoppanthaadi brought him a special mention at the 2017 Kerala State Television Awards.
