The makers of the fantasy-action film Cosmic Samson have begun their promotion, unveiling the first-look poster on May 10, 2026. It features lead actor Sandeep Pradeep — whose character, a pizza delivery agent, is shown peering curiously through a peephole. The film is directed by Abhijith Joseph, who previously made the thriller John Luther.
Sandeep Pradeep returns after a strong 2025 that included Alappuzha Gymkhana, Padakkalam and Eko, which has helped build interest in the project. The ensemble includes Mukesh, Miya George, Alphonse Puthren, Althaf Salim and Anuraj OB, alongside several newcomers.
Action and crew
One notable element is the involvement of Hollywood stunt coordinator Vlad Rimburg, known in India for his work on Basil Joseph’s Minnal Murali. The production house, Weekend Blockbusters, has flagged the action sequences as a highlight. On the technical side, Sibi Mathew Alex composes the music, Deepak D Menon handles cinematography and Chaman Chakko edits. The mix of a grounded character — a delivery agent — with high-concept fantasy is an unusual premise for Malayalam cinema.
Release plans
Cosmic Samson is set for an October 2026 theatrical release. Filming began in December and principal photography is complete, with the film now in post-production. Weekend Blockbusters is planning a pan-Indian release, with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.
