The song
Yuvan sings 'PAATT Paripadi' himself, alongside Ishaan Dev. The lyrics are by Dr. Parvathy. The song is the clearest look so far at what Yuvan brings to the film, but it is not his first piece of music for it. He released a motion-poster theme for Paripadi in April.
The song is still only one track, and the full shape of his score will become clear closer to release.
The team behind Paripadi
Joju George writes and directs the film. It is reported to be his second film as director, after Pani (2024). This time he has brought together a crew with some strong names.
Venu Kunnappilly produces Paripadi under Kavya Film Company. Rajeev Ravi is the cinematographer, and the action is choreographed by the duo Anbariv. Manu Antony edits the film, and Ajayan Adat handles sync sound and sound design.
Manu Antony's name connects Paripadi to another Joju film in the news this week. He is also reported to be the writer, director and editor of Aja Sundari, which revealed Joju's character poster earlier today.
Five languages, one film
Paripadi is reported to be releasing in five languages: Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. That plan covers the film itself. The song has been released in its Malayalam form.
