How Joseph travelled
Joseph released in November 2018, with Joju George as a retired police officer drawn into a case that exposes a racket in the medical system. Joju also produced the film, and Dileesh Pothan was in the cast.
Ranjin Raj composed the film's songs, and Anil Johnson did the background score.
Padmakumar remade Joseph himself in Tamil as Visithiran (2022). The Telugu remake, Shekar (2022), was directed by Jeevitha Rajasekhar. Suryaa takes the story to Hindi, with Padmakumar back in the director's chair.
A busy November 20
Suryaa joins a crowded Friday. Keerthy Suresh's Sathyavan Savithiri opens that day, along with Mammootty's OM and Dulquer Salmaan's Telugu film Aakasamlo Oka Tara.
