Mrunal Thakur recently gave fans a look at part of her wellness routine. Despite a busy travel and shooting schedule, she keeps things simple, and one of her staples is a chia seed drink — a glass of water infused with chia seeds and husk — which she shared in an Instagram story.
Why chia seeds
Chia seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants and provide hydration from within. Their fibre content aids digestion, which can show up as clearer skin. For Mrunal, the drink fits a broader approach that combines clean eating with staying hydrated, especially when she is travelling.
She also uses simple topical treatments. Having spoken before about having dry skin, she manages it with honey and papaya masks, a weekly honey or sugar scrub to exfoliate, and fresh aloe vera gel to soothe her skin.
Fitness too
Her routine isn’t only about diet. She does Pilates for core strength and balance, and her gym sessions include burpees, pull-ups and weighted shoulder presses. The combination of nutrition, skincare and regular exercise is what she credits for keeping her skin healthy — an approach that’s easy enough for most people to adapt.
