Priyanka Chopra Skincare Routine: The No-Soap Secret to Glowing Skin Revealed

· 1 min read · No comments

Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s skincare routine, it turns out, is a fairly simple one. Her mother, Dr. Madhu Chopra, recently shared the family’s approach on social media: no soap or commercial face wash, but a traditional homemade ubtan to keep the skin clear and bright.

According to Dr. Madhu, the routine has helped both mother and daughter keep acne, pimples and pigmentation in check over the years, using basic kitchen ingredients — proof, she says, that good skincare doesn’t have to be expensive, as long as you’re consistent.

What’s in the face pack

The base is a paste of gram flour (besan) and turmeric (haldi). Besan works as a gentle cleanser that lifts impurities without stripping the skin’s natural oils, while turmeric adds anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial benefits that help calm redness.

It can be adjusted for different skin types. For dry skin, fresh cream, yoghurt or a little cold milk adds moisture; for sensitive skin, wheat flour can replace gram flour, and lemon juice can stand in if turmeric causes irritation; for a vegan version, grated tomato or potato juice works in place of dairy. To apply, mix the ingredients into a smooth paste, spread it evenly while avoiding the delicate under-eye area, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse with plain water.

On the work front

Chopra continues to work in Hollywood with projects like The Bluff, and is preparing for her Indian return in S.S. Rajamouli’s Varanasi, alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, which is expected to release in April 2027.
