Why Kerala matters for Jailer 2
Mohanlal is back from the first film. His short role in Jailer (2023) went down well with Malayali audiences.
Suraj Venjaramoodu also joins the cast. That gives the film two Malayalam draws.
A first-hour figure of this size points to a big Kerala opening.
Opening-day shows in Kerala started at 6 am. Ragam in Thrissur is among the screens running 24-hour marathon shows on day one, and more shows are being added at several centres.
We will add verified figures here as they come in. If a number comes only from trade trackers, we will say so or leave it out.
Release in Kerala
Sree Gokulam Movies is distributing the film in Kerala. Dream Big Films is the distribution partner.
