Dhoomakethu (2026)
Dhoomakethu is a Malayalam fantasy comedy directed by Sudhi Maddison and built around a time loop. On the morning of his wedding, Kuttan (Sajin Gopu) wakes from a dream in which he dies. As the day unfolds, everything feels oddly familiar and events start to repeat, and Kuttan tries to work out what is real before he finds himself living the same day over again. Nikhila Vimal, Shine Tom Chacko, Ganapathi, Siddharth Bharathan and Manju Pillai are also in the cast. The first-look poster featured underwater sequences. Written by Sonny and Manu, the film comes from the makers of Sookshmadarshini, with Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid, Sajin Ali and Abbas Thirunavaya producing under Happy Hours Entertainments and A & HS Production House. It is Sudhi Maddison's next film after Neymar. Ankit Menon composes the music, Jinto George is the cinematographer and Vivek Harshan edits. Dhoomakethu released in theatres in September 2026 and streams on Netflix from 23 October 2026.
