Drishyam 3 (2026)

Drishyam 3 is a Malayalam crime drama written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, the third film in the series after Drishyam (2013) and Drishyam 2 (2021). Five years after the events of the second film, Georgekutty (Mohanlal) seems settled and has turned his past into a successful film. Two journalists, Yami (Veena Nandakumar) and Rony (Shiva Hariharan), begin asking whether that film reflects real events, especially the death of Varun, and Georgekutty denies any link. At home, he and his wife Rani (Meena) look for a match for their daughter Anju (Ansiba Hassan), but anonymous phone calls keep derailing every proposal. Esther Anil, Asha Sarath, Sidhique, Murali Gopy and Saikumar are also in the cast. Antony Perumbavoor produces under Aashirvad Cinemas, with Panorama Studios and Pen India Limited also on board and Pen Studios presenting; Anil Johnson composes the music. Jeethu Joseph has said the idea for this film began with the climax of Drishyam 2. Filming ran from 22 September to 2 December 2025 at locations including Poothotta, Thodupuzha, Vagamon and Thiruvalla. The film released in theatres in May 2026 and streams on Amazon Prime Video.
