Mohanlal is in the dubbing studio for Athimanoharam, his second film with director Tharun Moorthy after Thudarum. Photos of the actor at work were shared by the makers on October 13, reports said.
That puts the lead actor's voice work among the last big pieces of post-production. The release date has not moved: the official poster Mohanlal shared on Instagram still reads "In cinemas worldwide Dec 24".

Two months of dubbing
The rest of the cast got there first. Producer Ashiq Usman announced on August 17 that dubbing had begun, and Prarthana said on September 26 that she had finished her part, IANS reported. "Dubbing done for Athimanoharam. One more beautiful step closer to you all," she wrote.
Not another Thudarum
Mohanlal plays police officer TS Lovelajan, and Meera Jasmine plays his wife, Naisy. Tharun has called the film a "police procedural and family drama" and asked audiences not to compare it with Thudarum, he said when the date was announced in June. The first look, released at Vishu, showed Mohanlal in uniform among pilgrims headed to the hills.
Ratheesh Ravi, who wrote Ishq and the dialogues of Alappuzha Gymkhana, scripted the film. Shajikumar, who shot Thudarum, is behind the camera, and Jakes Bejoy composed the music. Jagadish, Lalu Alex, Manoj K Jayan, Irshad and Sudheesh are in the cast.
