Naslen plays Eswaran, a serial killer, in Scene, the makers revealed on October 22 with a first-look poster and a short character promo. In the promo, Suriya's DSP Inbaraj describes Eswaran as a "faceless, emotionless, inhuman predator" who shows off his crimes on social media.

"Proud that Scene marks the Tamil debut of the immensely talented Naslen," Suriya wrote on X, welcoming him to Tamil cinema. Scene releases worldwide on November 6, for Diwali.
From Premalu to Eswaran
The role puts the Premalu star opposite Suriya as the man his cop hunts. Naslen is also in Amal Neerad's Bachelor Party D'eux as Sony.
A Malayali team in Tamil
Scene is written and directed by Jithu Madhavan, and marks his Tamil debut. Composer Sushin Shyam also reportedly makes his Tamil debut. Nazriya Nazim returns to Tamil cinema with the film, which is also reported to star Anandaraj, Lal, John Vijay and Raj Priyan, in his film debut.
Vineeth Augustian is reportedly the cinematographer, with Ajmal Sabu editing and Dravid Selvam writing the Tamil dialogues. Suriya and Jyotika are reported to produce under Zhagaram Studios and 2D Entertainment, with Jaishree Damodaran as co-producer. Netflix has reportedly acquired the streaming rights and Sony Music the audio rights; no streaming date has been announced.
