What Titans is about
The makers bill Titans as a fantasy comedy, and the trailer mixes humour with thriller and mystery elements. Jayasurya plays Antony Yakuza, a member of a criminal gang, and the posters carry the tagline "Different games, different rules".
The film reunites Jayasurya and Vinayakan after Chathikkatha Chanthu, Iyobinte Pusthakam and the Aadu films. In the UK and Europe, RFT Films is releasing it on the same day.
Nerambokku's first film since Abraham Ozler
Titans is the first production from Nerambokku, the banner of Midhun Manuel Thomas and Irshad M Hassan, since Abraham Ozler (2024). It is also the first time Midhun is producing a film with Jayasurya in the lead, after directing him in Aadu and Aadu 2. Prince Joy, who made Anugraheethan Antony, directs from a script by James Sebastian.
Two Jayasurya releases six weeks apart
Titans is the first of two Jayasurya films due before the year ends. Jithin K Jose's mystery thriller Mayan: Chapter 1, in which he plays a police officer, follows on December 3. Read more in our Mayan: Chapter 1 first look story.
A crowded week
Titans will not have the screens to itself for long. Sreenath Bhasi's time-travel thriller Orijinal opens a day later, on October 23, as covered in our Orijinal certificate and release story.
