Blind Game, a posthumous release written and directed by Sangeeth Sivan, is set to premiere on ZEE5 on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, ZEE5 said in a statement reported by afaqs. The Hindi suspense thriller stars Arjun Rampal and Priyamani, and it goes straight to streaming on Free 5, the free, ad-supported section of ZEE5, with no theatrical release.

The film is one of two new additions to Free 5 announced on November 2. Blind Game reaches viewers more than two years after the filmmaker died on May 8, 2024, in Mumbai. He had also completed Kapkapiii, the Hindi remake of Romancham, before his death, as reported by Kerala Kaumudi.

What is Blind Game about?

ZEE5 describes the film as the story of an IPS officer drawn into a series of suspicious events involving a group of friends and a missing sum of Rs 5 crore. What looks like a simple case turns into a web of secrets and deception. The IMDb listing sums it up in one line: a cop under suspension on the trail of missing cash.

ZEE5 describes the film as a Hindi remake of the 2014 Malayalam thriller 7th Day, afaqs reported. The original starred Prithviraj Sukumaran as a police officer under suspension, as widely reported. Arjun Rampal plays Sikander and Priyamani plays Yamini, according to IMDb, with Rohit Chandel as Vicky. ZEE5 has not published a full cast list, so the character names are as reported.

Sangeeth Sivan: from Vyooham to Bollywood

For Malayalam audiences, Sangeeth Sivan is the director behind some of the most loved Mohanlal films of the 1990s. His career in brief:

  • 1995: Nirnayam, the Mohanlal thriller about a doctor who is falsely accused of murder.
  • 1998: Zor, his first Hindi film, with Sunny Deol.
  • 2003 to 2013: Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne, Kyaa Kool Hai Hum, Apna Sapna Money Money, Ek: The Power of One, Click and Yamla Pagla Deewana 2.
