I'm Game OTT release date: Dulquer's film on JioHotstar Nov 6

Dulquer Salmaan's I'm Game will stream on JioHotstar from November 6 in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, JioHotstar Malayalam announced on X on October 31. Producers Wayfarer Films confirmed the same date shortly after. This replaces the October 16 date we reported on October 14, which turned out to be wrong.

What changed

The October 16 date was widely reported in mid October, including in our earlier story, but the film did not arrive that day. Esquire India noted on October 19 that it still had not reached the platform. JioHotstar's post is the first official word on a date, and it puts the release three weeks later than first reported.

The film

Nahas Hidhayath, who made RDX, directed I'm Game for Wayfarer Films. Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead, with Mysskin, Antony Varghese, Samyuktha Viswanathan, Vinay Forrt and Kathir in the cast. For many viewers, the streaming release is the first real chance to see the film, and the five language versions should take it well beyond Kerala.

Its theatrical run was modest. Esquire India puts the worldwide gross at a reported estimate of Rs 48.27 crore. There is no official figure. The streaming release gives the film a second audience, and the dubbed versions open it up to viewers who skipped it in theatres.

Neither announcement gives a release time, so check the app on the day. Wayfarer Films has also put out Hindi and Telugu trailers, alongside the Malayalam one below, which released on July 31.
