The teaser of Aakasamlo Oka Tara is out, and it sets up a same-day contest for Malayali audiences. Dulquer Salmaan's Telugu film opens in theatres on November 20, the date Mammootty has announced for his film OM.
The teaser
Geetha Arts released the teaser in Telugu and in Malayalam. Dulquer shared it on X as "a little glimpse into a beautiful world". He plays Krishna, opposite newcomer Satvika Veeravalli, and Shruti Haasan is also in the cast. Pavan Sadineni directs, and GV Prakash Kumar composes the music.
On October 20, Geetha Arts said on X that the teaser was trending on YouTube in five countries. The film is still set for November 20.

With the teaser also out in Malayalam, Kerala theatres will have father and son competing for audiences on the same Friday.
Dulquer's fourth Telugu lead
Aakasamlo Oka Tara is his fourth Telugu film as a lead, after Mahanati, Sita Ramam and Lucky Baskhar. For the run-up to the teaser, read our earlier Aakasamlo Oka Tara story. His most recent Malayalam release, I'm Game, is now streaming.
What the teaser shows
The teaser runs one minute and 51 seconds. It centres on Satvika Veeravalli's character, a village student who tops her district but is pushed by her family into marriage. Krishna, played by Dulquer, is the man she marries, and he backs her plan to go far beyond the village, all the way to space.
That puts Satvika at the centre of the story. Shruti Haasan's role was not revealed in the teaser.
