Pithamagan and the National Award
After Sethu, Vikram's career moved firmly to Tamil cinema. He won the National Film Award for Best Actor for Bala's Pithamagan (2003).
Next: Power House
Vikram's next film is Power House, previously called Chiyaan 63, which reunites him with Iru Mugan director Anand Shankar. The makers have announced a 2027 release. Malayali actor Urvashi is part of the cast, with Sathya Jyothi Films producing.
