Mookuthi Amman 2: Mahasakthi reaches Kerala theatres this Friday, November 6, and bookings for the Nayanthara film are now open. Vels Film International shared the ticket links on X on Wednesday, November 4, with separate links for the Tamil title Mookuthi Amman 2 and the dubbed title Mahasakthi, and called it a grand Diwali release.
Bhavana Release is handling the film in Kerala. The makers credited the banner on October 31, when they put out the Malayalam version of World of Mahasakthi, the film's main promotional video, which runs close to two and a half minutes. We first reported the Kerala distribution deal in October.

Who is in Mookuthi Amman 2?
Nayanthara returns as the goddess she played in the 2020 film. This time Sundar C writes and directs, Ishari K Ganesh produces under Vels International, and Hip Hop Tamizha composes the songs. Regina Cassandra, Urvashi and Yogi Babu are part of the cast, and Mathrubhumi and Manorama report that Duniya Vijay is in it too. Urvashi is the familiar face for Malayali viewers, and she also starred in the first film. At the pre release event in Chennai on October 28, Vels shared a short clip of her speaking about the sequel.
Mathrubhumi and Manorama report that the film has a U/A certificate. They also report that Tamil Nadu has allowed special shows from 6 AM, with up to six shows a day, after permission from Chief Minister Joseph Vijay. Kerala show timings will depend on each theatre, so check the listing before you book.
The first film in numbers
Film: Mookuthi Amman (Tamil, 2020)

The first film was RJ Balaji's debut as director. Balaji played Engels Ramasamy, a news anchor from Nagercoil, who teams up with the goddess to expose a fraud godman.
