What the first look shows

The caption invites viewers to a new experience on the big screen. It says the film is coming soon to theatres.

The poster carries the line "Lose yourself in Night Shows". It also names Ranjan Pramod and producer Venu Kunnappilly.

What we know so far

Venu Kunnappilly produces the film under Kavya Film Company. The banner earlier backed 2018 and Malikappuram.

Apart from Soubin, the film has a large cast of newcomers. The makers have not confirmed the exact number yet.

The plot, the rest of the cast and the release date are still under wraps.

Ranjan Pramod has written and directed the film. He is also its production designer.

The film's shooting is complete, and post-production is under way, according to the makers' announcement.

Why it matters

Ranjan Pramod has a long record as a writer. He scripted Meesa Madhavan, Manassinakkare, Achuvinte Amma and Naran.

As a director, he made Photographer, Rakshadhikari Baiju Oppu and O Baby. His films are often rooted in everyday Kerala life.

Pairing him with Soubin, and with mostly fresh faces, makes this an unusual project for a big banner.
