The 3 Premam locations, chapter by chapter
1. School days: the Marthanda Varma Bridge and the Periyar, Aluva

Major portions of the film were shot in and around Aluva, where George's school-days chapter and the Aluva Puzha song play out. The Marthanda Varma Bridge, a public road bridge over the Periyar, is listed among the film's locations.
The song is said to have been shot on the old aqueduct near the bridge, but that comes from a single unofficial source, so treat it as unconfirmed.
How to visit: it is a public bridge in Aluva town. If you walk the old aqueduct, take care: its railings are reported to be broken in places.
2. College days: Union Christian College (UC College), Aluva
The chapter where George meets Malar was shot at Union Christian College in Aluva. It has been reported more than once and is the location fans ask about most. "Holy Spirit Convent College" is a name from the story, not a real place.
How to visit: UC College is a working college, not a tourist site, and we found no public visitor policy. Ask the college office for permission and do not enter the campus without it.
3. Cafe days: Pepper House, Fort Kochi

George's cafe was reportedly shot at Pepper House on Calvathy Road in Fort Kochi.
How to visit: Pepper House is open as a cafe, art space and design shop; its official website lists 11 am to 7 pm. Check before you go, as timings can change.
Also filmed in
Chokkampatti Hills and Goa are also named as locations. Which scenes were shot there has not been confirmed, so we are not matching them to scenes.
Our take: why Premam's map matters
Premam's three chapters are really three Kerala moods: the river town, the campus and the old port. The film keeps George's life inside a small radius, and that is what makes it a rare one-day film trail: you can walk his school days, college days and cafe days between breakfast and sunset.
A one-day Premam plan
- Morning: the Marthanda Varma Bridge and the Periyar bank in Aluva.
- Late morning: UC College, only after asking the college office.
- Afternoon: drive to Fort Kochi, roughly one to one and a half hours by road depending on traffic.
- Evening: end at Pepper House before it closes.
