The Hyderabad event
The announcement came after the film's Telugu pre-release event in Hyderabad on October 19. SVC Release, which is bringing the film to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, shared speeches from Yash and Ranbir Kapoor.
Yash asked fans to "come together for once and show the world". Ranbir said he hoped viewers would do more than watch a film, and go back to the stories their grandparents told them and the values their parents taught them.
The countdown for Kerala
Part 1 also releases in Malayalam, and Kerala audiences have two familiar faces to look for. Sai Pallavi, who plays Sita, is still Malar from Premam for many Malayali viewers. Shobana plays Kaikesi, Ravana's mother, in the Malayalam trailer.
Before the Indian release, the film has its world premiere at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles on October 27.
