What Mukharagam is
The makers describe Mukharagam as an ancient breathing art, passed quietly from one generation to the next. In their words, it works in the pause between breaths, between movement and stillness. The film moves through the nine Navarasa emotions, with Kathakali artists playing figures from the Mahabharata.
