Saregama has released the video of "Jodi No 1" from Udumbanchola Vision, a day before the film opens in theatres on October 23. The celebration number first came out in May 2025 as the film's first single.

The song
Gopi Sundar composes the track, Dabzee sings it and Vinayak Sasikumar writes the lyrics. The same trio earlier made "Manne Nambi" for Adios Amigo (2024). The video also lands days after Vinayak's Malayalam lyrics for Ravana Tandavam in Ramayana.
The film
Udumbanchola Vision is the first independent film by Salaam Bukhari, a former associate of Anwar Rasheed. Ashar Ameer, Riaz K Muhammed and Salaam Bukhari produce it under A&R Media Labs with UB Productions.
Mathew Thomas, Sreenath Bhasi, Milind Soman (in his Malayalam debut), Siddique, Dileesh Pothan, Srinda, Sudev Nair, Bhagath Manuel and Neena Kurup are part of the cast.
Sreenath on both sides of Friday
Sreenath Bhasi is in two films opening on October 23, Udumbanchola Vision and Orijinal.
Mathew Thomas in a lead role
Mathew Thomas broke through as Franky in Kumbalangi Nights (2019) and became a teen favourite the same year as Jaison in Thanneer Mathan Dinangal. He had an extended cameo as Thomas in Premalu (2024) and played Binto in Bromance (2025). Udumbanchola Vision gives him one of his most grown-up parts so far, as a studio photographer who takes over a local cable channel.
The music team
Gopi Sundar has scored Malayalam hits such as Bangalore Days (2014) and Charlie (2015). Dabzee became widely known in Kerala with Manavaalan Thug from Thallumaala (2022), and his voice suits the swagger of a celebration track like Jodi No 1.
Dabzee was also credited on Manne Nambi from Adios Amigo (2024).
Release
Udumbanchola Vision opens in theatres on October 23, 2026. It shares the date with Orijinal, which means Sreenath Bhasi has two films opening on the same Friday.
Mathew's other credits include Anjaam Pathiraa, Operation Java, Jo & Jo and Cup, and he also appeared in the Tamil film Leo.
