Nazriya Nazim is back in Tamil cinema with Jithu Madhavan's Scene, which stars Suriya and opens in theatres on November 6. She plays Maya, a role confirmed by Mathrubhumi and Vikatan. The film ends a 12-year break from Tamil films for the actor.
Nazriya on her Tamil comeback
Nazriya spoke about the return at the film's launch. "The reason for my comeback to Tamil cinema after 12 years is first and foremost Suriya sir. This is truly a dream come true for me," she said, as Mathrubhumi reported.
Suriya described the film as "murder, mystery, madness, laughter," Vikatan reported. He also thanked Dhanush at the event, according to the same report.
Jyotika attended the launch, Tamil Filmibeat reported. She is part of the film as a producer through 2D Entertainment, not as a member of the cast.
