Om, the Dhanush and Mammootty film directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, will reach Kerala theatres on November 20 through Binu George Alexander Productions, better known so far as a producer. The banner behind Mohanlal's upcoming film with Anoop Sathyan has bought the film's Kerala rights, and Dream Big Films will release it in theatres across the state on the company's behalf.
Wunderbar Films, Dhanush's production house, announced the deal on X on October 31 with a poster reading "Kerala distribution by Binu George Alexander Productions through Dream Big Films". The full title on the poster is Om Chapter 1, Udhiram: The Blood Wood.

A producer steps into distribution
In Malayalam film news this season, Binu George Alexander's name has come up as a producer. He is credited as producer on L368, Mohanlal's film with Anoop Sathyan, alongside Aashirvad Cinemas and Antony Perumbavoor, and the film was launched with a pooja in Kochi on October 30. Manorama Online reported that Om marks the company's new step into distribution, with plans to stay active in both production and distribution.
We first reported the rights deal in our Om Kerala rights story. What the official poster adds is how the film will actually reach screens: Dream Big Films, which is also handling the Kerala release of Suriya's Scene with Sree Gokulam Movies this week, will do the theatre bookings.
