Ottam Thullal, the Malayalam family comedy directed by G. Marthandan and led by Vishnu Unnikrishnan, streams from November 6, 2026. AP International posted the window on X and named Amazon Prime Video, ManoramaMAX, Simply South for viewers outside India, and AP International South Cinema.

Indian Express Malayalam and Hindustan Times Telugu, both writing on November 5, listed the same November 6 window and the same platform set as the AP International post (Prime Video, ManoramaMAX, AP International South Cinema and Simply South overseas). No ManoramaMAX or Prime Video India X announcement for the title was found in our check. We are not adding a streaming clock time, because none of the posts we opened named one.
Where Ottam Thullal streams
In India, the confirmed home platforms in the AP International note are Amazon Prime Video and ManoramaMAX, plus AP International South Cinema. Simply South is named for the worldwide window excluding India. Check your app storefront for the title card once it goes live, because regional catalogues can differ.
Cast, crew and story
Vishnu Unnikrishnan heads the cast with Vijayaraghavan, Kalabhavan Shajon, Harisree Ashokan, Tini Tom and Manoj K.U., as listed across the film's trailer credits and the November OTT write-ups. G. Marthandan directs. Binu Sasiram wrote the screenplay. Rahul Raj composed the music. Mohan Nellikkat produced it under JKS Productions for Aadhya Productions.
The film opened in theatres on September 18, 2026. The plot, as outlined in the official trailer materials and outlet synopses, follows a village family after a sacred pala tree is cut against a priest's warning, and a string of feared deaths pushes relatives into frantic, comic attempts to stay alive.
That puts the digital bow a little under seven weeks after the theatrical date. Hindustan Times Telugu described the film as a U-certified family comedy running about 1 hour 56 minutes. GOODWILL ENTERTAINMENTS published the official trailer on YouTube ahead of the September opening.
For Kerala viewers who missed it in theatres, the dual India listing on Prime Video and ManoramaMAX is the practical detail. Simply South covers the overseas slot excluding India, as the AP International caption states. We are not adding a streaming clock time because none of the posts we opened named one.
How it fits this OTT Friday
November 6 is already busy at home. ICU is on Sun NXT and I'm Game is on JioHotstar. Our weekly Malayalam OTT list tracks that cluster. Ottam Thullal adds a village comedy option on Prime Video and ManoramaMAX the same day.
ManoramaMAX viewers also have The Third Murder lined up for November 13. More streaming dates sit in our OTT section.
