Keerthy Suresh turns 34: first look as Latha Reddy in January 12 Vidudala

Keerthy Suresh turns 34 today, and her birthday brought a first look at her next Telugu role. Director Anil Ravipudi introduced her as Latha Reddy in January 12 Vidudala, his film with Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. Netflix also released the teaser of her series Akka on the same day.

"It's been a delight watching you bring your signature spark, warmth and effortless charm to LATHA REDDY in #January12Vidudala," Anil Ravipudi wrote on X. Sri Balaji Video also shared the look, saying the film releases worldwide on January 12, 2027.

The date is in the title too. January 12 Vidudala translates to "January 12 release", and the makers announced the film for Sankranti 2027 in August. Keerthy is paired opposite Venkatesh, and Krithi Shetty is also in the cast. GV Prakash Kumar composes the music.

A Mahanati nod

Prime Video India marked the day with a nod to the role that won her the National Award, posting "Alexa play, MAHANATI".

Her film career began in Malayalam, and her lead debut came in Priyadarshan's Geethaanjali (2013), which starred Mohanlal. Mahanati also had a Malayali link: Dulquer Salmaan played Gemini Ganesan opposite her, in his first Telugu film.
